Although the chapel dates back to the 14th century, the current facade clearly includes architectural elements from the Baroque period.
Tarchna, Corneto, Tarquinia
These elements can be seen in the pilasters delimiting the width of the facade supporting a peculiar trabeation with a smooth frieze surmounted by a cornice and and arched tympanum terminating in straight lines. The portal is simple and linear in design, made of nenfro and surmounted by a square window. The chapel is no longer used for religious services but is utilized as a catechism school and for other church activities related to the parishes of S. Giovanni Gerosolimitano and S. Leonardo.
